Fishtail Halo Braid with InStyler Ireland

Step 1

Split the hair into two sections.

Step 2

Bring the two sections forward and keep one section at the crown separate.

Step 3

Twist the crown section up and secure it with a clip.

Step 4

Now that you have clipped away the crown section, take one of the remaining sections on one side and create a fishtail braid. if you are unsure of how to create a fishtail, see our earlier post.

Step 5

Continue the fishtail braid and secure it with a clear elastic band.

Step 6

Repeat this on the other side so you are left with one fishtail braid on each side.

Step 7

Take one braid and lift it up and over the head. Secure it in place with a bobby pin on the far side of the head.

Step 8

Repeat on the far side so both braids are overlapped on top of the head and secured with bobby pins.

Step 9

Next, release the section at the crown that you had clipped up before you started. Backcomb this area at the root.

Step 10

When you have finished backcombing that section, take your 32mm InStyler and pull the hair through the barrel in an upwards motion. This will create volume a the root.

Step 11

Roll this section under and pin at the nape of the neck.
